The Story Behind the New Logo
The journey to this new logo began with reflection. As the founder of GAMESQ, PLC, I wanted a design that not only represented me personally but also captured the essence of what my firm stands for. The name “GAMESQ” itself carries deep meaning: it combines my full legal name—Garrick Arvin McFadden (GAM)—with “ESQ,” the abbreviation for Esquire, a title earned by becoming a licensed attorney. This name represents my personal journey, my professional achievements, and my dedication to serving others.
Seven years ago, Wyatt Hill and I first collaborated during my campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives. At that time, Wyatt approached me after seeing my initial campaign logo and offered to create something better—free of charge. His generosity and vision resulted in a design that became a cornerstone of my campaign’s identity. Fast forward to today, I knew Wyatt was the perfect person to help reimagine GAMESQ’s branding.
The Design: A Symbol of Strength and Justice
Wyatt’s design process was thoughtful and collaborative. Together, we sought to create a logo that would resonate with our clients while standing as a bold statement of our firm’s purpose. The result is a striking design with several key elements:
- The “G” as a Fist
At first glance, the “G” in “GAM” may appear simple, but its shape is intentional—it resembles a raised fist. This fist is more than just a design choice; it’s a symbol of strength, solidarity, and empowerment. Often associated with movements for justice and equality, the fist represents our firm’s commitment to standing up for our clients against powerful insurance companies and other adversaries. It reminds us—and our clients—that we are here to fight on their behalf. - The Color Palette: Navy Blue and Orange
The colors in the logo were chosen carefully:
- Navy Blue: Represents trust, professionalism, and stability—the foundation upon which GAMESQ operates.
- Orange: Adds energy and approachability while drawing attention to “ESQ,” emphasizing my legal credentials and expertise. Together, these colors create a balance between authority and warmth, reflecting our dedication to both excellence in legal representation and compassionate client service.
- The Tagline: “Your Injuries. Our Fight. Your Win.”
Our new slogan succinctly captures what we do:
